Day 21 In Lampang (Sea-Teacher SEAMEO Program)

Friday 9 February 2018, is the last day to teach in the class in Sea Teacher Program. I have two classes to teach in friday. I teach grade 6 at 09.30-10.30 and grade 5 at 12.30-13.30. Dr Haruthai, my mentor from Lampang Rajabhat University will observe me at 12.30-13.30 on grade 5. First schedule in grade 6, the topic for grade 6 is Volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. I show them a power point and some videos related to the topic. The students be active in the class and gime me an attention like usual. 

Then after lunch, at 12.30-13.30 i have a schedule in grade 5. Mr Haruthai arrived in the school at 12.30 then we enter the class together. I have been prepare many things for the evaluation and i do my best. The topic for grade 5 is Loud sounds, soft sounds, high pitched sounds and low pitched sounds. I ak the students to do activity 6.6 How are sound different in their book. Before the students do this activity, i give the students the materials that needed in this activity. The materials is papper cup, rubber band and paper clips. They observe about the sounds from the release of rubbber bands at different heights and sounds from flicking rubber band that was pulled up to different heights. Then we discuss how is the result and how it can happened. After that, i ask them to write the result on their books. 

The students get a conclusion that Loudness of sounds depends on the distance of an object’s vibration. If an object’s vibration has a short distance or it vibrates with little energy the sound wil be soft. If an object’s vibration has a longer distance or it vibrates with more energy the sound wil be loud.
